Here I was thinking it might be something cool like "Dance, Dance, Orient" or something like that Sad

Not currently. I think I'm just waiting to see if the new Star Wars MMO is gonna be worth it.

I'm in the closed beta for The Old Republic. Its pretty good story wise and the side quests are a great way to break up grinding but the combat is boring. No auto attack and a global cool down like the WoW combat that's made for 4yo's. It annoys me because the other parts of the game (ie the voice acting and choices you make) are a new take on the MMO genre but I don't like the global cool down system. I never have and never will. I have ordered my copy of TOR overlooking the weak boring combat because the story lines are really that good if not linear. Let me know if Cory or Lloyd are playing and I'll gladly join y'all on the same server.

I'm hoping that the beta testers will be able to help them get things like combat right. Plus, I would love for us to end up on the same server. I think it would be a blast. I believe some wish to play empire and some republic. I would hope we could arrange a server for each.

I have posted about 15 times and I'm gonna start adding that combat is boring to each feedback form I get so hopefully it will get better. Right now I have played the Trooper, Bounty Hunter, Jedi Knight and Sith Inquisitor. So far the Sith Inquisitor or Bounty Hunter is what I will be playing on launch. I love the idea that the Sith Inquisitor splits to become the Off Tank/DPS (Assassin) or DPS/Main Healer (Sorceror) and the Bounty Hunter splits to become the the Off Tank/DPS (Powertech) or DPS/Off Healer (Mercenary). As you can see I enjoy playing the Healer or Tank in groups (usually the tank). The classes in that game are pretty flexible as to what roles they can play in groups. It will make finding groups that much easier. Basically each side has essentially the same classes/play styles with few differences other than the story lines. Just let me know what type of character you all wanna play and I'll tell ya what classes fill that role because they don't allow you (right now) to switch your Advanced Class once you choose it.
