Oh, and it states it's a two player game, ala Space Hulk style.

What!?!?!? Ah well. At least FFG is doing it. Still I was kinda hoping for a GW esk game with 4-8 players.
Maybe down the road they can do Twilight Imperium varation with the 40K universe.

That would be amazing . . . . I'm sure if they keep banking heave on all the GW games the "real" GW has abandoned . . . . they would do something like that.

I doubt it, since the article itself said it was a two player game.

two people = multi-player Debatable really since matches between two people often have their own proper noun. Games between several people often do not. I'd say that two people could be called multiplayer but much like the square a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square. I could go on but then again I can almost see the eyes of the readers skipping through so on ward. What I'm asking is are there official rules to playing teams? Which would make the product more marketable. # A multiplayer game is a game which is played by several players. The players might be independent opponents, formed into teams or be just a single ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-player # a game played by two or more players simultaneously www.backgame.com/online-games-terms-l-p.html

They haven't officially stated info on a possible team variant, but since the game was just announced . . . . you never know what they'll eventually reveal.
