"The Skavenblight Threat" Battle Pack
The first expansion for Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game features 40 new cards with each new Battle Pack, bringing new deckbuilding opportunities for each of the factions. The Corruption Cycle also introduces the humanoid rats, the Skaven, and more cards for the High Elf and Dark Elf factions.
The Skavenblight Threat is the first monthly Battle Pack installment of The Corruption Cycle, a linked expansion series for Warhammer: Invasion, a card game of intense warfare, clever kingdom management, and epic questing. This 40 card pack contains 20 different never-before-seen cards designed to augment existing decks and add variety to the Warhammer: Invasion metagame.
CONTAINS CARDS 1-20 of “THE CORRUPTION CYCLE.”
These items will be $9.95 each. According to the Fantasy Flight Website these items are "on the boat" and following that they will shipping soon. Some of our distributors have been soliciting preorders and I thought I'd put this up so that we don't run into a shortage situation like we do with some games.

I wish we could know what cards and how many of each will be coming in the packs, but I'm pretty sure I can trade off a few extras without needing three packs. I suspect I will go with two for now. From GHwy

Unfortunately, FFG is not known for it's ability to set dates. It's unlikely that we will be able to set anything up since we probably won't know it's coming out until the week it's shipped.  |

The FFG site has been updated and now this product is shown as shipping out to distributors. Which is a vast improvement over the boat symbol they use for when it's on the way from the manufacturer to them.

Lots of nice stuff in here . . . as I thought Orcs didn't get any really solid power cards since we were so good out of the gate, but glad to see Chaos got some really awesome stuff.

I mean yeah we get a super cheap unit that can get a solid boost when it's attacking, but if you needed to draw a unit to help stabilize your economy . . . . guaranteed that mofo is who you'll draw every time.

One of my distributors got them (Skavenblight) in today. We will be placing a order with that distributor on Monday and should have them by Wednesday afternoon.
But I am still not holding my breath.....
I can't hold it that long.
